Location: the hotel was just next door to bike rental station which proved useful when the tram became inoperable due to a storm, the city center and netherlands. The apartment was good with big beds.

This two-bedroom unit in a canal house was absolutely amazing! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the new and relaxing decor made us feel right at home. The host, Mavis, was so welcoming and made our stay the best of our entire vacation. The location was super convenient with a bus and tram stop less than 5 minutes away, allowing us to easily explore all of the top Amsterdam attractions within 30 minutes or less. We loved the fact that there was a supermarket next door with plenty of fresh meal options, perfect for those lazy nights when we didn't feel like cooking. The two nearby restaurants, Merza and Mchi, were also delicious and within walking distance. We even got to enjoy a swim at one of the two nearby beaches! The apartment was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival, such a thoughtful touch. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the tram stop and shops were just around the corner. It only took us 10-15 minutes to reach the city center, making it the perfect location. The morning walks near the Ijmeer were refreshing and the small market behind the shops on Saturday mornings was a charming local experience. The kitchen was well-equipped, and Mavis even provided us with an ironing table for our wedding. When we mentioned that we don't drink, she kindly replaced the champagne with chocolates. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the room was serene and relaxing. Despite the heavy wind and rain outside, we felt cozy and comfortable inside. We would definitely recommend this location and hope to return during a warmer period to enjoy the terrace even more. Thank you, Mavis, for the incredible stay!

What a great Christmas stay! The cozy apartment had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city center via the nearby tram line. Plus, we loved being able to take morning walks by the water and explore the modern architecture in the area. The view from the room was so peaceful and relaxing, even during the stormy weather. Can't wait to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the terrace even more.
The high breakfast/dining table, which was a bit uncomfortable for my parents. It would have been nice to have a larger table in the living room as an alternative.

Loved the cozy sitting area and the Nespresso machine. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered great views of the canal and garden. Free parking was a plus.
Oh, I just hated the fact that there is free private parking. Who wants that convenience anyway?
